The Parent Group

The Parent Group at Randolph School is a wonderful way to meet other families and discuss topics of interest related to your children and Randolph School.  Get involved in fundraising and help organize social and educational events, too!

Parents join together to form our Parent Group, which is led by co-chairs and meets regularly. Its mission is threefold.

The Parent Group:

  • Provides support for our community through supportive tools like organizing speakers for workshops of relevant topics. Past Randolph Talks have included: “How to talk to your kids about sexuality”, “How to navigate anxiety in our kids”, and “What is Progressive Education?”, “Parenting in Today's World”, to name a few. They also have a Discord channel to share information like recipes, parenting hacks, and organize playdates, and gear swaps.

  • Sponsors social events for parents and families to come together and create stronger bonds outside of the regular school day, including fall movie nights, family hikes, Holiday Craft Party, “Past and Futures” end of the year celebration, back-to-school barbecue, and monthly coffee meet-ups after drop-off.

  • Helps to raise funds for special projects for the campus and through the school. Fundraising efforts have generated funds to send a teacher to Italy to study at Reggio Emilia, buy a weather station and new science equipment, and helped with the renovation of our kitchen. Our current special project is for a new playground structure in the upper playground.
