Admissions 2024

Thank you for your interest in pursuing an application with us.   Our goal is to give your family all the information you need, which includes experiencing the campus and meeting the teachers. To be included in the applicant pool for all age groups, and be placed on our contact lists, please complete the form below.

The Application Process

Step 1: Become More Familiar With the School (Sept-Jan)

As a parent, you should first become familiar with the school through our website and social media (@randolph.school), by reading printed materials upon request, and visiting the campus during Open Outdoors admission events in the Fall and Spring.

Step 2: Applications (January-Feb)

Applications will become available online in late January 2023. Complete the application portion through TADS to secure a place on our admissions rosters and in future communications related to program enrollment.  This also establishes an account that will contain all admissions, enrollment, and financial components in one place.  If you indicate on this application that you are not applying for a Community-Based Tuition placement, you may proceed to Step 4.

Step 3: Community-Based Tuition

*If you are not applying for Community-Based Tuition spots, you may indicate this on the application and proceed to Step 4.
If you are applying for a tuition payment in tiers 1-4, TADS application.  Once all documents are completed, an application is reviewed by a committee of board members and staff.  All Identifying info is redacted.  Determinations of the committee will be communicated through the Director and TADS.

TADS offers customer support for families Monday-Friday.

Applications for Community-Based tuition are reviewed and processed by a committee of board members and staff, beginning on February 15.  Enrollment contracts will be sent out beginning in March.

Step 4: Connect With Us (February)

After receiving and reviewing your application, you will schedule an  appointment to  meet with the Director over Zoom. Next you have an opportunity to visit our campus for a tour and meet the faculty.  If you’re interested, we can also connect with you with a member of our Parent Group who can  share their experiences and answer your questions.

An important part of this process is for the child to visit and spend some time with the teachers.  These visits will be scheduled with the office on a rolling basis, as opportunities are available, after the Parent Tour & Zoom Call With the Director.

Step 5: Coming Together

After experiencing Randolph firsthand in tours and visits, you will hear from the Director regarding our enrollment decision in March-April.

Affirmative Action in Admissions

The Randolph School, in its efforts to uphold the values and principles of the school’s founding, employs a race-conscious approach to admissions.  This serves to ensure that our learning community reflects the diversity of our world, which is central to our school mission.  As the Supreme Court of the United States has recognized, diversity has benefits for all students, and today’s students must be prepared to participate in a diverse and global society.  It is here that they get the opportunities to practice.

Non-discrimination Policy

The Randolph School does not discriminate in employment, enrollment, or in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, financial aid, and athletic and other programs on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin, religion, age, sexual orientation, physical characteristics, gender, disability, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
